Returns and Price Adjustments
To return items by mail
Click here to start your self-service return. Please note gift cards, final sale items, and freight orders, are not eligible for self-service returns. Contact customerservice@mackenzie-childs.com if you have any questions regarding your return.
Follow the steps to process your return. Noting that each box returned requires its own RMA and return shipping label. Each return will have a $7.50 return cost, which will be deducted from your return when it is processed. Or, if you'd rather, you can opt to send the returns back at your cost. Both options will be available during the self-service return process.
To return items to a MacKenzie-Childs store
To return or exchange eligible non-furniture items at one of our two locations, please bring the item(s) and proof of purchase within 30 days of receipt of the product. If you have questions about in-store return/exchange policies, please contact the store location.
Extended holiday return policy
All online orders and purchases made at our SoHo and Aurora retail locations between November 1, 2024, and December 24, 2024, are eligible for our extended holiday return policy. These items can be returned through January 31, 2025. All returns are credited to the credit card used on the original purchase or can be refunded to a MacKenzie-Childs gift card. There are no cash refunds or exchanges. Proof of purchase is required for all returns.
Non-furniture returns
We will accept returns of non-furniture items under the following conditions:
- A valid proof of purchase must be provided. (See below for acceptable forms of proof.)
- Returns will be accepted within 90 days of the original purchase date.
- Within 30 days, we will issue a refund using the original method of payment. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
- After the initial 30 days, you will be issued a merchandise credit.
- Items must be returned in new condition, unused and unwashed, in original packaging with all original components.
- Items sold as marked down and discontinued are final sale and cannot be returned.
